Self build and fairly sustainable house in Nebraska, built over a number of years. Great use of Corten steel and a fabulous expressive form, a bit like a piece of rusty agricultural machinery.

Fabulous use of simple materials in this sports hall. I love the combination of larch, corten, galvanised steel and polycarbonate.

Fantastic sustainable fly repellent based on the principle (tried and tested over years in Mexico) that flies are scared by movement, associating it with predators. The glass and the water act almost like a prism and amplify the movement in the immediate vicinity. In markets in South America, a home-made version of a clear plastic bag filled with water is used as a cheap and cost-effective solution.
